Deliver license keys to buyers
Let DaVinci Market issue and verify keys, connect your own server, or manage keys yourself.
Open Studio → Integrations → License keys. Each listing in the list at the bottom has its own delivery choice: no key, DaVinci Market server, your own server, or manual keys. Changing it never affects keys already delivered. Choose the method that matches how your product is activated before making the listing available to buyers.
With the DaVinci Market server, we generate a unique key for every buyer in your format (an optional prefix and groups of letters and numbers) and handle activation for you. Your plugin or script calls the License API with the listing id, the key and a stable id for the computer. You choose how many machines each key can activate; license options with more seats raise that limit. Refunded keys stop working automatically, and from the listing’s key page you can clear a key’s machines or revoke and restore it.
With your own server, first add an HTTPS endpoint in Integrations → Webhooks, then send a test key request from the “Your own server” tab. On each purchase we send a signed request and your server replies with the key.
With manual keys, paste keys or upload a TXT or CSV file on the listing’s key page, or generate them in your format. Duplicate keys are ignored. Keep enough unused keys for expected orders; Studio emails you when 3 are left and when the list runs out.
If a key can’t be delivered, the purchase stays pending. The listing’s key page lets you retry or send a key by hand, and adding keys serves waiting buyers. Buyers see their key in the order email, their access page and their library. A full refund hides the delivered key.
